There are a million and one beginner's pages on the net for any type of reenacting you can imagine. Each one claims to be the best but this one sets out to actually be the best...
Ok, Im kidding (sorta). Most are created by an individual or group who has invested tons of blood, sweat, and tears. I've been involved with a few. The problem is, a web page is generally static while our learning is not. The "beginner's guide" should be as fluid as the new information that is found.

I helped to re-write the guidelines. I was quite proud of them too. But almost as soon as they were published, I found new information which counters parts of the guidelines - or at least begged for them to be tweaked. So, with that in mind, these pages are subject to change without notice. ;)
